I am looking for info. on my g-grandfather, Warrenington Roberts from Hartville. It was told to me that his mother was full-blooded Cherokee from Ok. My paternal grandmother was Easter Roberts Lee Watson from Mountain Grove. Do you have any info. on them? In the 1920's he was a deputy marshall in Hartville. Thanks

My ancestor (John Spelts) was a member of Durbin Creek Church. His farm was next to the church. I think he may have given part of the farm property to the church to build its first building. Also have the name "Brown" in my family history. Nancy Brown b1834 - m. Rorbert j. Spelts

Great web site. I enjoyed finding out more about Durbin Baptist Church as I have Stewart-related relatives buried there. My father was born nearby but attended New Harmony Presbyterian.

You have did a fantastic job of your website! My Roberts family migrated to Alabama from Greenville, SC back around the late 1800's. I have not been able to make a connection to my branch with this branch though, although there possibly be some connections at some point in time back in South Carolina. I have listed all of my branch that I have been able to trace at this site: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/r/o/b/James-Roberts-Alabama/index.html

Hi, I was just attempting to locate some information regarding the Roberts family history. My 3great grandfather was born and rasied in Blount County. But my family give very little information regarding the past Roberts. If you have any information regarding the John or Moore Roberts from Blount County please send. John was married to Louiza Ware in Blount County. John had 8 children and may 2great grandfather moved to Arkansas in the 1860. I'm unable to locate them in Arkansas. This is where Warren, John's son was married. Warren moved to Mountain Grove Mo. and then to Hartville, Mo. John served in the Civil War and deserted according to his Civil War records. This is a long shoot. thank Jim Roberts

I appreciate the starting of the web site, and as you can see by the date K-K worked on Christmas to put it together. Knowing it is a long process getting infomation to make a genealogy web site, everyone should keep a regular schedule to view the site for new details.
